Second Intercommunity Interest Forum held in West Belfast

Bryson Intercultural was delighted to organise the second DARE to Lead Change Intercommunity Interest Forum.  The forum was held during May in the Social Enterprise Village in West Belfast.  Over 20 people from a range of 15 organisations from North and South attended the Forum. 

DARE to Lead Change Project is led by Bryson Intercultural, in partnership with TIDES.  This project is funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Jo Marley, Director of Bryson Intercultural said, This, our second forum event provided a great opportunity to share knowledge and experience to date in relation to our work building Dialogues about Race and Ethnicity.  Since we started this project in late 2017, we have trained 12 people from Black and Minority Ethnic Groups to become Cultural and Community Champions who regularly participate in sharing their experiences with other groups and individuals,  we have engaged with over 125 organisations and provided training to 170 people around Good Relations and Managing Diversity. The outcome of our Forum event has generated a number of key themes and areas for us to focus our activities on going forward starting with our next Cafe Culture event around Women and Employability.
